My car has almost 100,000 miles on the clock and is therefore worth a lot more to me than anyone with a Glass’ Guide in their hand. I’ve had it for five years and apart from the horrific depreciation it hasn’t cost me that much. It should be good for at least another 50-60,000 miles so I’m planning on getting my money’s worth out of it.

For a while I’ve been meaning to get some of the dinks and scratches sorted out as rust has started to appear where the paint has been damaged. A friend recommended ChipsAway, a hi-tec, relatively low cost solution. The car was picked up yesterday morning and dropped back as good as new. I’m impressed. Now I’ve just got to be a little more careful and try and keep it nice for a while.

Today the car’s at the garage for an oil service. It’s been 10,000 miles and 12 months since the last service so I’m still telling myself that it’s cheap motoring!
