Dead Air

Just finished reading Dead Air by Iain Banks.

The book is about a Scottish radio ‘shock jock’, living a life of excess and debauchery in London. As you’d expect there’s sex, drugs and rock and roll, with the unlikely addition of a London gangster and a run in with right wing extremists.

A book that made me laugh out loud a couple of times, usually in quiet places that turned people’s heads! Pure escapeism, without much to think about.

I’ve ordered another of Bank’s books; The Wasp Factory. I’ll let you know how I get on.
